Please join Friends of the Schindler House (FoSH) to celebrate the Kings Road house for an evening of music, drama, and discourse in the spirit of Rudolph & Pauline Schindler's commitment to art & architecture. Proceeds from the Schindler Salon will support the mission of FoSH and its Schindler @100 Campaign to preserve this modern masterpiece.

The salon will feature performances by:

Otto, pianist, accordion player, singer
Otto is a recording artist, producer, multi instrumentalist, entrepreneur and educator. Since his humble beginnings as a pianist, accordion player and choir boy, Otto performs and teaches all over Chicago. 

Jorge Orozco, musician
Originally from Mexico, Jorge has been active in the Chicago music scene since 2014, performing with projects that span genres from jazz, swing, and latin to folk, Italian, rock, and traditional Mexican music. He has performed at venues such as Andy's, The Jazz Showcase, Elastic Arts, the MCA’s Tuesdays on the Terrace, Glenwood Art Fest, Oak Park Jazz Thaw, and the 2011 edition of the Querétaro International Jazz Festival, among others. He also recently participated in Chicago’s Night at the Parks project as part of a didactic program for kids. He continues to perform in all these different settings as well as in private events.

Manuel Reyes, guitarist 
Venezuelan jazz guitarist, A D'Angelico Guitars and Supro amps artist, his skillful fingers blend Latin rhythm with jazz expressions.

Owais Ahmed, performance
Owais is a Chicago based actor, where he is a proud ensemble member of Definition Theatre Co. Most recently he was seen off-Broadway in Heartland  at 59E59. Theatre credits include: Guards at the Taj (Milwaukee Rep), Small Mouth Sounds (Alliance Theatre), The Invisible Hand (Steep Theatre, Jeff Award Recipient), The Hard Problem (Court Theatre), Orange (Mixed Blood Theatre), and The Qualms (Steppenwolf Theatre).

Victoria Nassif, performance
Victoria, a first generation Lebanese theatre maker based out of Chicago. She believes deeply in the power of stories to shape our internal and external ​worlds, even to influence policy. Her work spans from timeless classics like Shakespeare, to brand new work focusing on social issues and building the world we want to live in.
